More about INDEED
Entrepreneurship educators have a critical role to play, providing managers and staff with access to the knowledge and skills training they need to reinvigorate their business models and survive the crisis. However, facing the imperative to embrace digital teaching and learning, entrepreneurship educators themselves need to improve their own digital competences in order to rise to the challenge.
Business training and mentoring is traditionally a face-to-face endeavour carried out individually or in small groups. Therefore, trainers and mentors have not previously needed to develop digital pedagogic approaches. The pandemic has changed this all and today educators who are unable to engage and educate clients and learners online will find themselves obsolete.
Through INDEED we will build the digital skills of entrepreneurship educators in line with European competence frameworks, especially Dig Comp Edu and Dig Comp Org. Through our Digital Pedagogy Toolbox, you will learn which online tools, programs and apps are most effective for achieving educational outcomes and learning objectives. Then, through our Online learning course you will develop the skills in applying a range of up-to-date pedagogic strategies that are specifically adapted for remote teaching in virtual environments.
Entrepreneurship educators are at the heart of our project. We simply cannot expect our entrepreneurship VET organisations to produce a quantum leap of the size required to support the huge number of small businesses now requiring support unless we invest in updating the skills and capacity of our trainers and mentors.
All of our project’s outputs are focussed on helping you discover and become capable in the use of digital pedagogies and tools which will increase access to your services and the effectiveness of their learning and teaching strategies.
